Job summary

Northbridge Insurance is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our commercial mid-market team. You will work closely with broker partners to build a holistic risk picture and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties.

In a collaborative environment, you’ll receive coaching and development, with education support for CIP/FCIP/CRM and a flexible hybrid work model that balances office and remote days.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of underwriting experience in property, casualty, automobile.
• Completed, or pursuing CIP designation.
• Strong customer service background.
• Team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses and work with broker partners to obtain a holistic risk view.

Our Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.
