Job summary

Northbridge Insurance is seeking a Senior Commercial Underwriter to assess and underwrite Canadian small business risks, collaborating with broker partners to ensure sound risk selection. The role emphasizes coaching less experienced underwriters and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

We value a minimum 5 years in commercial insurance, a customer-focused mindset, and a team-first approach. CIP designation is a plus, and Small Business experience is advantageous.

They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties.
