Job summary

Fountain Tire is seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Technician to operate a Service Truck in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We are hiring two team members, one for regular hours and one for after-hours service, with a focus on safety and high-quality customer service on every call.

You will inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires, while working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Commercial or OTR tire expertise.
• Team player willing to take on any tire or any task.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driver’s abstract are required.
• Work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy; must be up for the challenge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires and wheels.
• Handle a variety of off-the-road tire services from a Service Truck.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service on every call.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on the road and at customer sites.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone who is a commercial or OTR tire expert
• A team player willing to take on any tire or any task
• A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
