Job summary

Fountain Tire in Fort St. John is seeking a responsible Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. You will inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair tires while delivering friendly, professional service.

We offer competitive wages $25-$30 per hour, health, dental and vision benefits, RRSP with company matching, and company training. This is a full-time daytime role with overtime opportunities. Growth opportunities and staff tire discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial tire experience in a professional setting.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc. and we need someone up for the challenge.
• Must be able to be on call after hours.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires.
• Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales.
• Maintain professional and friendly customer service to impress customers.
• Keep yourself and coworkers safe on the job.
