Job summary

Fountain Tire Nanaimo is seeking a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician. The role involves inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of tire experience in a professional setting.
• OTR tires experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy conditions.
• On-call availability after hours.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and/or repair tires on various vehicles.
• Greet and communicate with customers on repair, service and tire sales.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.
• Take pride in keeping customers safe and on the road.

Fountain Tire Nanaimo (4801 Wellington Road) is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician!

Whatkind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of tire experience in a professional setting
• Previous experience with OTR tires is an asset
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
