Would you like to join Kal Tire's team in Prince Rupert, BC. as a Commercial Service Technician? We're looking for a Team Member to deliver top-notch service by performing tire service on commercial vehicles both on and off site; you will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams, assist in maintaining and repairing commercial vehicle equipment, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in every task.

1. You will be trained on tire service replacement and repair for commercial vehicles; both on and off site including road-side service calls.

Day to Day Responsibilities

1. Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear, and overall conditions.
2. Provide on-site fleet service, roadside assistance, and off-site commercial tire services.
3. Interact with customers professionally, addressing tire-related concerns, providing advice, and recommending appropriate options.
4. Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendations for maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications and Success

1. A valid Driver’s License
2. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving attitude.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services.
4. You are a self-starter dedicated to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and constructive workplace.
5. Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
6. Enjoy creating positive and building long-term relationships.
7. Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50 lbs at shoulder height.
8. Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures.
