Job summary

National Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Canada Corp. (KeepRite Refrigeration) is seeking an engineer to design and validate refrigeration systems, perform capacity calculations, and create wiring diagrams and assembly drawings using AutoCAD and Solid Edge.

The role supports our rack team and interfaces with industrial engineering, production, and lab staff. The candidate should have refrigeration experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with multiple software programs to

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma (or equivalent).
• Proficient in 2-D and 3-D CAD software (AutoCAD/Solid Edge).
• Minimum 3+ years refrigeration background or related experience.
• Strong working knowledge of refrigeration systems/components and how to apply them.
• Commercial refrigeration experience is an asset.
• Experience with supermarket-type equipment is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, interpret, and respond to sales or customer product-related inquiries.
• Design refrigeration systems and select equipment based on parameters supplied or industry standards.
• Offer technical support/troubleshooting expertise for field issues in person, by phone, or by other electronic measures.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
• Participate in regular meetings with fellow team members within product groups.
• Liaison between contractors, customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing groups.
• Perform other duties and initiatives as assigned.
