Job summary

Johnson Controls Canada is seeking an electrical/control engineer to join our team. You will contribute to new product development, design robust control platforms, and ensure documentation integrity across drawings and databases.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform risk analysis, and support commissioning. The role requires a BSc in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical engineering and bilingual English/French, with 5–10 years in refrigeration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• Experience with electrical and control engineering principles.
• Knowledge of standards and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new product development from concept to FAT and training.
• Design, debug, and refine control platforms with organized, maintainable code.
• Develop and maintain documentation, files, databases, drawings, and schematics.
• Implement robust control sequences to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Support the service team during start-up and commissioning.
