Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced engineer to participate in new product development for control systems within industrial refrigeration. You will design, code, and test control platforms, while maintaining thorough documentation and supporting commissioning and training efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical engineering, 5–10 years in refrigeration, and bilingual English/French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechanical engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
• Bilingual English and French.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new product development including concept work, equipment specification, risk analysis, controls development, FAT, commissioning, and training.
• Design, debug, and refine control platforms with well-organized, documented, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Develop, review, and maintain documentation, files, databases, drawings, and schematics to ensure integrity of control technologies.
• Implement robust control sequences to optimize equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Support the service team during start-up and commissioning.
