Job summary

First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to oversee large-scale reconstruction and general contracting projects from planning to execution. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure safety, quality, and profitability on every job.

The role requires 3+ years in restoration/construction project management, excellent communication, and the ability to read Xactimate scopes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in restoration, construction, or commercial contracting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in construction is an asset.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-phase projects with budgets up to $5M.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and project scheduling.
• Advanced communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, cost control, and profit margins.
• Ability to read and interpret Xactimate scopes, drawings, and estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort using project management software and mobile apps.
• IICRC or equivalent certifications preferred, including WRT, FSRT, or AMRT; provincial asbestos certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to travel for extended periods for CAT assignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale reconstruction and general contracting projects from planning to execution.
• Lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications to meet timelines.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and Supervisors.
• Analyze scopes, review budgets, and collaborate with clients, adjusters, and stakeholders.
• Read and interpret Xactimate scopes and drawings.
• Travel for CAT assignments as needed.
