Job summary

Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. in Canada is seeking a product professional to develop and refine Commercial P&C insurance products, including coverage, guidelines, rating and endorsements. You will collaborate with leadership and multiple departments to bring concepts to launch and support implementation, testing and ongoing reviews.

You will also create training materials for brokers and staff, monitor performance, and propose changes to stay competitive while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Commercial P&C insurance.
• Knowledge of underwriting, coverages, policy wordings.
• CIP designation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Research market trends, broker needs, competitor offerings and emerging risks.
• Develop and refine products including coverage, underwriting guidelines, rating, wordings and endorsements.
• Collaborate with leadership, underwriting, claims, operations and technology teams to bring products from concept to launch.
• Support product implementation, testing, documentation and ongoing product reviews.
• Develop and deliver product materials and training to brokers and the Forward team.
• Monitor product performance and recommend changes to remain competitive and profitable.
• Assist with Insurer regulatory/compliance requirements as required.
