Job summary

CGIC is seeking a District Offices-based insurance sales professional for a regular full-time, office-based role in Canada. You will build a sales pipeline, align underwriting guidelines, and advise clients on risk management and coverage.

You will conduct policy reviews, respond to inquiries, participate in community events to raise brand awareness, and collaborate to exceed client expectations while pursuing a CIP/FCIP designation and maintaining a general insurance license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and business development.
• General insurance license required.
• Pursuing CIP or FCIP designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to prospect and build a sales pipeline.
• Complete risk assessments and inspections per underwriting guidelines.
• Review client goals and provide risk management recommendations.
• Perform policy reviews and respond to client inquiries, escalate issues as needed.
• Participate in events to boost brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
