Job summary

Magna is seeking a Commercial Coordinator for Cosma International in Milton, Ontario. The role interfaces with the corporate team and customer on commercial issues related to cost and timing, and acts as a facilitator of information flow between departments on commercial matters.

You will respond to RFQs, support quotes, and help maintain profitability analyses and pricing strategies while upholding confidentiality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business or Commerce, or equivalent education and experience.
• 2–3 years experience in costing and quoting, preference given to automotive or related manufacturing experience.
• Strong organizational and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer RFQs and engineering changes with cost and timing.
• Creates and maintains excellent customer relations.
• Works closely with other departments to analyze profitability using Modatek processes.
• Identifies and proposes cost improvement opportunities.
• Maintains cost and sales reports for tracking and overall program profitability.
• Coordinates and supports commercial customer audits.
