Job summary

Magna International in Mississauga is seeking a Senior Facilities Supervisor to lead construction and renovation projects, oversee maintenance, and drive safety and quality improvements across our manufacturing campuses.

You will manage teams, coach staff, review drawings, ensure compliance with 5S, ISO/IATF, and coordinate with engineering, production, HR and external contractors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum six to eight years of supervisory experience in automotive or manufacturing.
  • Degree or diploma in construction, building maintenance or civil engineering.
  • Able to read facility drawings and schematics.
  • Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction or renovation projects from concept to finalization.
  • Coordinate activities to maintain and/or enhance all facility related aspects.
  • Administer preventative maintenance programs / schedules for facility.
  • Lead and schedule activities of Team Members.
  • Develop Team Members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Provide formal and informal performance feedback to Team Members.
  • Conduct accident / incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee security, sourcing providers and related policies.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and liaise with inspectors.
  • Maintain open issues list and report status to senior leaders.
