  • Act as liaison between sales, engineering, and plant to validate Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Monitor and analyze the commercial pipeline and backlog to ensure data integrity and forecast reliability.
  • Serve as the interface between Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Plant teams to synchronize information and commitments.
Customer Orders and Execution
  • Control order entry in the ERP system and ensure compliance with signed contracts. Verify consistency between customer contract, order, technical changes, milestones, and invoicing.
  • Supervise invoicing, disputes, cash collection, and accounts‑receivable data quality.
  • Analyze average collection period (DSO), aging, disputes, customer deposits, and forecast cash inflows based on milestones.
  • Assess customer collection risks.
  • Monitor and validate sales commissions.
Reporting, Analysis, and Forecasting
  • Produce dashboards and regular analyses by client, region, segment, and product.
  • Track commercial and operational KPIs (margins, pipeline/backlog conversion, timelines, performance).
  • Participate in monthly forecasts for sales, backlog, and cash‑in.
  • Analyze forecast versus actual variances in collaboration with sales teams.
Contract Analysis & Commercial Governance
  • Analyze new contracts to identify potential accounting impacts.
  • Monitor high‑risk contractual conditions.
  • Implement a standard contract review process, including financial clauses, incoterms, milestones, retention, and penalties.
  • Ensure commercial compliance in ERP/CRM.
  • Monitor tax obligations (Canada & USA): sales taxes, exemptions, certificates, documentation, in collaboration with tax advisors.
Commercial Data Governance
  • Responsible for commercial data in ERP/CRM: customers, projects, BOM, and quotes.
  • Improve master data quality, reduce errors, and standardize practices.
Tools, Systems, and Continuous Improvement
  • Build and optimize tools and processes in a hyper‑growth environment.
  • Collaborate with IT/ERP/CRM teams on functional improvements, workflows, dashboards, and automation.
  • Contribute to establishing a robust and agile internal control environment adapted to rapid growth.
Management and Leadership
  • Supervise the accounts‑receivable and credit‑management team (billing, collections, credit, dispute management, monthly closing, customer relations).
  • Participate in deploying credit insurance and factoring programs.
Qualifications

  • Interest in automation and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, particularly IFRS 15 / US GAAP revenue recognition.
  • Knowledge of Canadian/US sales taxes.
  • Fluency in French and English required.
Behavioral Skills
  • Leadership and ability to navigate between sales, engineering, operations, and finance.
  • Analytical mindset, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage challenges, influence decisions, enforce contractual rigor, and focus on cash and risk management.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, transforming environment with multiple priorities and autonomy.
  • Strong process‑building orientation and continuous improvement.
