Job summary

RBC is seeking a Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services Intern, based primarily in RBC’s Commercial Banking centre for a nine-month program. You will learn through mentoring, on-the-job training, online courses, and classroom sessions to serve commercial business clients in accounts, operating services, credit, lending and deposits.

You will deliver tailored financial advice, use sales planning tools, and build a needs-based strategy to grow revenue while strengthening client

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending and banking in a relationship role.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in commerce or business administration, or related experience.
• Proven success in business development, client acquisition, prospecting, and cold calling.
• Experience with financial statement review and modeling/analysis.
• Familiar with web-based meetings, social media, digital banking and mobile apps.
