As a Commercial Account Executive, you will promote HUB’s comprehensive suite of insurance products and services. Our extensive offerings enable you to serve clients with all lines of coverage and grow as their trusted insurance advisor. Supported by our Sales Enablement team and best-in-class research tools, you will have resources to provide timely insights. Additionally, HUB’s internal rewards program, SHARP, recognizes top performers annually at an offsite retreat.

A day in the life -

  1. Manage customer expectations effectively
  2. Assist clients via phone with questions about coverage
  3. Communicate client needs/problems with company personnel
  4. Understand agency and company rating systems and websites
  5. Negotiate rates and coverage with underwriters
  6. Follow-up on changes, renewals with insurance companies
  7. Review claims and discuss with clients
  8. Explain coverage details to clients
  9. Handle accounts receivable follow-up
  10. Present new business and renewal sales
  11. Close deals through upselling and cross-selling
  12. Prospect for new business, typically $20,000 to $100,000 in premiums
  13. Prepare marketing submissions, proposals, and insurance summaries
  14. Ensure accuracy of policies, endorsements, audits received from insurers
  15. Issue certificates of insurance and motor vehicle slips
  16. Review payments
  17. Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

Salary Expectations –

The compensation structure is variable, including a discretionary draw plus commission, which depends on your book of business. Total earnings will vary based on skills, experience, location, and business scope.
