Job summary

Hexagon is seeking a Business & Data Analyst to join the Commerce Systems team in Calgary, onsite with hybrid options after onboarding. You will interact with sales and marketing, elicit and analyze requirements, develop SQL queries, create reports, and support change management and process improvements to drive measurable results.

The role emphasizes liaison between business and technical teams, KPI tracking, UAT support, and accurate documentation across the analytics stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business with IS/technical project experience.
• At least 5 years' business analysis experience.
• Strong SQL proficiency with ability to develop complex queries.
• Experience eliciting requirements and translating to stakeholder and system requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and remote/offshore collaboration.
• Owns the outcome with personal accountability for delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into clear system requirements.
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams; manage requirements lifecycle.
• Support KPI tracking, UAT, and validation to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to support analysis, testing, and reporting.
• Design and develop reports aligned to business requirements.
• Lead readiness and enablement for system changes and post-release support.
• Maintain documentation and identify process improvements.
