DGA Careers in Montreal invites an experienced Commercial Insurance Underwriter to join a stable Canadian MGA with 70 years of experience. You will underwrite new business and renewals across specialty lines such as Technology, Cyber, and E&O, building strong broker relationships.

This permanent role offers a hybrid work model (2 days in the office), a 35-hour week, bilingual premium, a 10% annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits including retirement plan and health coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance, ideally within specialty lines.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of portfolio performance indicators.

Responsabilités

You will be responsible for underwriting new business and renewals, analyzing risks, developing appropriate terms and conditions, and building strong relationships with broker partners.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance, ideally within specialty lines
• Underwriting experience is a strong asset
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of portfolio performance indicators
• Full bilingualism in French and English is essential
• Curious, eager to learn and interested in eventually obtaining your PAA designation
• Comfortable developing relationships with brokers and business partners
• Strong communication and presentation skills
