Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collections Specialist based in Laval, QC. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and collecting overdue accounts. Daily tasks include contacting customers by phone and email to arrange and negotiate repayment plans, maintaining customer account records, and ensuring timely collections. Additionally, the Specialist will provide excellent customer service and support to address any financial inquiries and concerns. Experience with bankruptcy, debt management, consumer proposals, and sending accounts to third-party collection agencies is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections over the phone and via email
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in finance
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Computer skills (Excel, Word, and/or Office automation)
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or a related field is beneficial
