Job summary

Adecco is hiring a full-time Collections Representative in Toronto, ON. Join a dynamic customer service team and help customers while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

You will make outbound collection calls, update records, and document interactions to meet targets within a Monday–Friday 9am–5pm shift. This temporary/full-time role offers benefits after qualification and training.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
  • Experience in customer service, call centers, or collections preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to document interactions clearly.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with strong computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage priorities.
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Make professional outbound collection calls while following policy.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and outcomes.
  • Perform skip tracing to keep customer records up to date.
  • Meet productivity targets during scheduled shifts.
  • Process daily returned mail and update contact information.
  • Respond to client requests and escalate complex inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records across systems and assist with duties as needed.

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Collections Representative to join a dynamic customer service team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills who enjoy helping customers while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

As a Collections Representative, you will be responsible for making outbound collection calls, updating customer records, processing client requests, and ensuring accurate documentation of all customer interactions.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00 - $ 22.00/hour
  • Location: Toronto, ON
  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 9 am to 5 pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Make professional and courteous outbound collection calls while adhering to company policies and quality standards
  • Accurately document customer interactions and call outcomes in company systems
  • Perform skip tracing activities to maintain up-to-date customer information
  • Meet productivity and performance targets during scheduled shifts
  • Process daily returned mail and update customer contact information as needed
  • Respond to client requests and eskalate complex inquiries to the Contact Center Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Follow established procedures and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous customer service, call center, collections, or communication experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills (minimum 35 WPM)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
