Job summary

Altis Technology is hiring a Collections Representative in Mississauga in a hybrid role. You will support customers through timely, professional collections conversations by phone and email, helping the organization maintain financial health with a customer-first approach.

This role requires a proactive, accountable individual who can manage follow-ups and document interactions in multiple systems, while striving to meet monthly targets and metrics in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience, retail or call centre experience is strongly valued.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and staying proactive throughout the day.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
• Solid computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems, including Word and PDF tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts by working through system-generated follow-ups and daily emails.
• Make outbound collection calls and handle inbound inquiries.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and work with customers to resolve overdue balances.
• Document all interactions accurately across multiple internal systems.
• Consistently work toward monthly performance expectations, including call activity and dollars collected.

Job description

Location: Mississauga, Hybrid, 2 days on-site per week (Mondays and Thursdays)
Duration: ASAP until March 26th, 2027, with potential for extension or permanency.
Background Check Requirement: Criminal background check
Pay Rate: $23/hour.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:15am-5:15pm. Every 3 months for 1 week will require to cover 10am-7pm.
