Job summary

goeasy Ltd’s LendCare division seeks a Collections Representative in Ontario to engage customers, assess repayment options, and help manage delinquent accounts with a customer-first mindset. The role operates in a fast-paced environment to drive responsible outcomes.

Candidate should have 1–2 years in collections or related fields, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office; background checks are required. The position offers CAD 20/hour, potential bonuses, and growth opportunities.

• Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts and negotiate repayment plans.
• Support operations by managing customer accounts and delinquent loan activity.
• Negotiate with customers and explore resources to reach optimal arrangements.
• Document collections activities with strong administrative practices.

A day in the life of a Collections Representative:

• Demonstratecompassionandempathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
• Performoutbound callsto collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
• Support operationsby managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts of financial loans.
• Expertly engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement.
• Completeinitial trace workusing online tools and account systems.
• Documentcollections activities and processes through superior administration skills.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a collections, sales, or customer service or call center/contact center role.
• Experience with using an automated dialer system is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task; adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
• Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis at the time of application; we are not able to provide sponsorship.

Hours of Operation

• Night Shift:
  • Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Day Shift:
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Rotating weekly mid-shift:
    • Week 1: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    • Week 2: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturday work (Day Shift only)

We are offering $20.00/hour CAD for this role, plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
