Job summary

goeasy Ltd. is seeking a Collections Representative in Canada to perform outbound calls, negotiate repayment plans, and manage delinquent accounts with compassion and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in collections or related roles, bilingual FR/EN, and strong communication and MS Office skills; background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers and offer solutions.
• Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts and negotiate repayment plans.
• Manage customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts.
• Engage in negotiations with customers and explore resources to secure the best arrangement.
• Complete initial trace work using online tools and account systems.
• Document collections activities and processes with strong administration.

A Day In The Life Of a Collections Representative

• Demonstratecompassionandempathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
• Performoutbound callsto collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
• Support operationsby managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts of financial loans.
• Expertly engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement.
• Completeinitial trace workusing online tools and account systems.
• Documentcollections activities and processes through superior administration skills.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a collections, sales, or customer service or call center/contact center role.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
• Experience with using an automated dialer system is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task; adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
• Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis at the time of application; we are not able to provide sponsorship.

We are offering $22.00 - $29.00/hour CAD for this role, plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
