Job summary

Socket.dev in Canada is seeking a Coffee and Vending Service Technician to keep machines running through routine maintenance and minor repairs. You’ll service vending, coffee and beverage equipment, perform installations and removals, and ensure safe operation at client sites.

You must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. The role requires physical work, climbing, bending, and a willingness to learn and deliver top-notch service

• Strong working knowledge of the machinery used in the industry.
• Physical ability for lifting heavy machinery and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Keep machines functional through basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Perform minor repairs to vending, coffee and beverage equipment.
• Troubleshoot, program, and install equipment.
• Set up machines to improve existing equipment.
• Installations and removals of vending equipment from locations.
• Dispose of old equipment approved for disposal.
• Address customer complaints and machine malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job description

Now, if you were to come on board as a Coffee and Vending Service Technician, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

• Keep machines functional and operational through continued basic maintenance and cleaning
• Perform minor repairs to vending, coffee and beverage equipment including but not limited to lightbulb changes, coil changes, unclogging of machines, routine preventative maintenance, etc.
• Knowledge of how to work with plumbing, water lines and electrical Perform technical troubleshooting, programming, and installation of various types of equipment
• Set up machines for the purpose of improvement to existing equipment
• Perform service functions such as price changes, machine alterations, changing filter rolls
• Perform installations and removals of vending equipment, coffee machines and other equipment from locations
• Dispose of old equipment approved for disposal
• Other duties as may be required and assigned by management
• Resolve or report customer complaints and machine malfunctions
• Individual will maintain a clean and safe work environment, Individual needs to perform the job safely while adhering to all company safety standards
