G&A Robot Inc. is a Vancouver-based smart food and beverage automation company seeking a Smart Vending Machine Attendant to perform on-site inspection, servicing, and maintenance of automated machines across campus and public facilities.

Training is provided; junior technicians with a strong work attitude are encouraged to apply. The role focuses on monitoring ~10–15 machines, diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and ensuring safe, daily operation.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing automated or food-related equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues.
• Able to replace parts and perform routine maintenance.
• Capable of working independently and managing service priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain vending and beverage machines on-site.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation components.
• Replace defective parts per manufacturer specs and document maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to maximise uptime and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment logs.
• Coordinate with operations for scheduling and urgent requests.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and train new staff.

G&A ROBOT INC. is a Vancouver-based smart food and beverage automation company. We operate automated coffee and beverage machines across universities, transit hubs, hospitals, and other public facilities.

We are currently seeking a Smart Vending Machine Attendant to perform on-site inspection, servicing, and maintenance of automated coffee and beverage machines, ensuring reliable daily operation and prompt response to service needs.

Training is provided and junior technicians with a strong work attitude are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspection, servicing, and maintenance of automated Beverage Machines and Hot Food Bento Machines to ensure continuous daily operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Replace defective parts and components and adjust equipment according to manufacturer specifications and operational requirements
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and routine servicing to maintain equipment reliability and operational efficiency
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with applicable health, safety, and food sanitation standards
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and equipment logs
• Coordinate with operations staff to schedule maintenance activities and respond promptly to urgent service requests
• Provide on-the-job technical guidance and assistance to junior technicians when required
• Train new employees on basic equipment operation, safe work practices, and routine maintenance procedures

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing automated, commercial, or food-related equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic electrical knowledge relevant to equipment servicing
• Ability to independently perform equipment repairs, component replacement, and routine maintenance
• Class 5 Driver's Licence is required
• Food Safety Certificate is an asset
• Ability to work independently and manage service priorities effectively
• Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset

Additional Information

• Must be flexible in terms of shift availability. We have both day shift and night shift.
• This position is responsible for ensuring the daily operational readiness of approximately 10-15 automated machines
• Training and technical support for junior technicians are integral components of this role
• Field-based role with regular on-site service locations
