Job summary

Clio is seeking a Software Developer Co-op to join our Engineering team from Calgary hub, with in-office presence at least twice per week. This 8-month program runs January 2027 through August 2027, offering hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React Native, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch.

You will design, develop, and deploy code, participate in planning, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration, and actively pursue growth in software engineering skills, including AI-driven

Qualifications

• Completed two years of CS/Engineering studies with strong fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in programming languages and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software as part of Clio’s product suite.
• Contribute to scoping and planning for upcoming work.
• Communicate progress and address impediments proactively.
• Collaborate across the development organization and peer reviews.
• Implement new features and resolve customer-impacting issues.
