Job summary

Irving Oil invites you to join as a Process Technical Services Student in the East Saint John area. The role blends field and office work to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve unit performance with the ESJ Terminal team.

You will contribute to operations meetings, perform trend analysis, monthly reporting, and support change management documentation while gaining exposure to a fast-paced marine terminal environment. Housing allowance and relocation support are available to qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree, 2nd–4th year.
• Demonstrated problem solving and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and Excel.
• Valid Canadian driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to operations meetings and provide updates to the area team.
• Process trending, troubleshooting, and analysis.
• Monthly reporting.
• Facilitating our change management process and updating documentation.
• Monitor water quality and conduct bioassays for containment ponds.
• VRU efficiency monitoring, and environmental / operational reporting.
