Job summary

The Payment Review and Compliance department of WorkSafeBC is looking for a Co-op Student, Payment Review and Compliance to join our team to assist in payment analysis and reviewing payment security reports.

This eight‑month temporary opportunity starts in September 2026 and is based in our Richmond office, five days a week. You’ll gain practical experience in payment integrity, fraud detection, and process improvement while contributing to our team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Business Administration & Finance program.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Previous analytical co-op or office experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review payment security reports to identify errors and potential fraud.
• Assist in payment analysis including detection of potential frauds and overpayments.
• Assist in Pension Monitoring and Declaration processes and handling calls with recipients.
• Support ad-hoc tasks such as event planning or meeting preparation.
