The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is currently seeking a Performance & Analytics co-op student for the Winter 2027 work term (January to April) to provide timely, accurate and high-quality investment performance & analytics reporting and analysis to various stakeholder groups.

The co-op student will work in the Performance & Analytics team within BCI’s Finance department.
This is a great opportunity for you to learn and apply your knowledge to support the timely, accurate and meaningful measurement and analysis of investment performance across a wide range of public & private market strategies.
The Finance department is part of the Operations group and in various ways collaborates with all the other departments within BCI.
Finance is responsible for financial administration, financial reporting and tax planning for BCI and the investment funds under BCI's administration.
The Performance & Analytics branch is tasked with calculating, benchmarking, attributing and reporting of investment performance results for all asset classes, strategies and clients.
Performance reports and analyses are used to help client trustees perform their fiduciary duty in oversight of BCI’s investment management, to assist management in understanding the drivers of return and evaluating the success of strategies and initiatives, and more importantly to provide the feedback loop to support investment decision making.
