Job summary

Dometic Marine is seeking a Co-op Manufacturing Engineering – Machining student to join the Manufacturing Engineering Group (MEG) in Vancouver, BC. You will design fixtures, operate 3D printers, and support machining process improvements in a large in‑house shop environment.

You must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program with strong problem‑solving, English communication skills, and experience with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA). On-site role offering parking and company events.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
• Strong problem solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with 2D drafting software is a plus.
• Hands‑on mechanical aptitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design/improve fixtures and equipment for machining processes.
• Operate 3D printers and develop prototypes.
• Perform root cause investigations for production scrap.
• Assist diagnosis of equipment failures and repair.
• Update factory layouts and assist CNC relocation projects.
• Interact with suppliers/subcontractors for custom components.
