Job summary

Dometic in Vancouver, BC, seeks a Product Designer-Mechanical to develop mechanical and electromechanical marine control systems. You will own end-to-end design from concept through validation, working with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, production-ready solutions.

Proficiency with Creo and Windchill is desirable; strong communication in English and collaboration across manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers is essential for successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical/ electromechanical product design.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures and DFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and components; 3D CAD modeling and stress analysis.
• Lead design reviews; plan validation and documentation; participate in product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers for launches.
