Job summary

Maple Reinders is seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator in Mississauga to support Project Managers and Superintendents on civil projects. The role focuses on maintaining contract docs, assisting with estimates, budgets and schedules, and coordinating with design-build, plan-and-spec, and CM contracts.

A vehicle is required for site visits due to limited public transit access. Ideal candidates are full‑time students in Architectural Technology, Construction Management or Civil Engineering or

Qualifications

• A full-time student enrolled in a related post-secondary program (i.e. Architectural Technology, Construction Management or Civil Engineering)
• Or be a new graduate from a related program who completed studies in 2026
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel would be an asset

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain purchase order logs, shop drawing and submittal logs, and plan logs
• Gain an understanding of how to select suppliers and sub-trades and obtaining quotations
• Assisting with and/or clarifying scope of work with sub-trades and suppliers
• Ensuring there is a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as our Corporate Health and Safety Policy
• Attending site meetings and assisting in the completion of project deficiencies
• Tracking and keeping inventory of supplies to ensure they arrive on schedule and are tracked.
