Express Employment Professionals is seeking a CNC Operator for a manufacturing business in Brantford. The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings, and basic computer skills.

You will handle daily PM, tool changes, and verify parts with precision instruments. The job includes weekday night shifts (Mon-Wed 6:00pm–6:00am, Thu 6:00pm–12:00am) with a $25.25/hour base and $1.05/hour shift premium, plus weekend night shifts (Fri 12:00am–6:00am; Fri–Sun 6:00pm–6:00am) with

Qualifications

• Must have previous mechanical experience.
• Ability to learn new technology and apply mechanical abilities.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and data sheets.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must know how to use a tape measure.
• Intermediate math skills including converting fractions to decimals.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily PM as required (S4-P4, flat laser or Prima CG-EB).
• Perform tool changes/laser centering as required.
• Operate machine to run orders on the machine as per schedule (S4-P4, flat laser or Prima CG-EB).
• Inform the Team Leader of any breakdown discrepancies.
• Inform the Team Leader of any program or design concerns.
• Perform first off/last off procedure and make corrections as necessary.
• Inform the Team Leader/Nester of any variations between parts and prints.
• Inspect/verify parts using precision measuring instruments including vernier, calipers, and gauges.

Our client, a manufacturing business in Brantford, is looking for an organized and reliable CNC Operator – not a programmer

Position Details

• Location: Brantford
• Weekday night shift – Monday to Wednesday from 6:00pm to 6:00am, Thursday from 6:00pm to 12:00am – $25.25/hour + $1.05/hour shift premium
• Weekend night shift – Friday from 12:00am (Thursday midnight) to 6:00am – Friday to Sunday from 6:00pm to 6:00 am - $25.25/hour + $2.00/hour shift premium

Here is What You Will Be Doing
