The CNA is responsible for providing the highest quality of care by administering medication and treatments safely and organized. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, medication administration, documentation, and resident care, always demonstrating Sunrise's Mission to champion the quality of life for all seniors, in accordance with laws, standards, and policies to ensure the highest quality of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Part Time, Combination of 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm, 2-3 shifts per week

Supporting our Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values is fundamental. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Medication Administration: Administer medications, review logs, receive updates, ensure timely and accurate medication passing, document appropriately, and maintain confidentiality.
• Resident Care Communications: Notify concerns, participate in meetings, and contribute to care planning.
• Risk Management and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, practice safety procedures, report incidents, and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Training and Team Success: Participate in team activities, meetings, and training to support community goals and compliance.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED (or as required by regulations)
• Maintain necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
• At least 18 years old
• Experience with seniors preferred
• Strong communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
