At Sunrise, our Caregiver is responsible for providing the highest quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Weekend differential: $2 for all shifts from Friday starting at 3pm to Monday ending at 7am!
Minimum qualifications: A CHHA, PCA, or MA CNA license is required per state regulations.
Language proficiency: English language required.
Shift options:
- Part-time, 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Part-time, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families by assisting with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and understanding their preferences and personalities.
- Notify management of changes in residents' conditions and recommend care adjustments.
- Assist residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated on their individual profiles.
- Incorporate multi-sensory experiences into residents' daily routines.
- Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Monitor designated residents during shifts, ensuring their well-being through regular checks.
- Collaborate with the community team to ensure OSHA compliance and promote safety and risk management policies.
- Respond to dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
- Encourage and assist residents in life skills and enriching activities per their ISP and profiles.
Qualifications:
- Passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork skills.
- High School diploma/GED; state-specific certifications as required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make decisions in residents' best interest.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
