  • Perform preventative maintenance, adjustments, and service on CMM equipment
  • Evaluate machine geometry and measurement performance
  • Identify sources of measurement error and recommend corrective actions
  • Work with CMM probing systems, controllers, scales, and related hardware
  • Use appropriate calibration artifacts and measurement equipment to verify CMM performance
  • Complete calibration certificates, technical documentation, and service reports
  • Program and operate CMMs
  • Provide technical support and recommendations to customers
  • Maintain calibration equipment and ensure proper handling of precision measurement standards
  • Work independently at customer facilities while maintaining TMC’s quality and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience calibrating and servicing Coordinate Measuring Machines
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 10360 and CMM performance verification
  • Strong CMM diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong understanding of dimensional metrology and measurement uncertainty/error sources
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, probing, accuracy, and repeatability issues
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T
  • Strong technical documentation and customer communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly
  • Experience servicing Hexagon, DEA, Brown & Sharpe, Mitutoyo, ZEISS, Wenzel, or similar CMM systems
  • Experience with Renishaw probing systems and controllers
  • Experience using laser interferometers, step gauges, ball bars, calibrated spheres, or other CMM calibration equipment
  • Experience performing CMM adjustments, compensation, or geometry correction
  • Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration environment
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Full-time employment with a growing metrology company
  • Opportunity to take a senior technical or management role within our operations
  • Exposure to a broad range of CMMs and advanced metrology technologies
  • Opportunities for continued technical development and training
