Job summary

Sun Life is seeking a Scrum Master / Senior Project Manager to join the Digital Platform Modernization Delivery team within the CTO. You will lead agile delivery for infrastructure and cloud services, guiding teams through Scrum, Kanban and hybrid approaches to achieve enterprise goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, governance, and continuous improvement across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with release train engineers and stakeholders, remove impediments, and ensure predictable

Qualifications

5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Scrum Master / Project Manager in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall environments.
5 to 7 years implementing medium to large technology projects including infrastructure and cloud services.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certified; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, management and reporting of high‑quality technology solutions.
Foster agile practices, coach teams, remove impediments to delivery.
Act as servant leader, establish agile practices and ensure value delivery.
Identify and remove blockers to maintain velocity and flow of work.
Build relationships with release train engineers and other teams to deliver business value.
Track goals, quality, and productivity metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee governance, reporting and monitoring per the delivery framework.
Mentor less experienced team members and align efforts with project goals.
