Position Summary: We are hiring an Operations & Growth Manager to work directly with the company owner and help lead day-to-day operations, marketing execution, product development, and business growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and has a passion for turning ideas into action.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cross-Departmental Leadership & Alignment: Serve as the primary operational partner to the President, helping align production, marketing, sales, and fulfillment activities to strategic goals. Ensure strong collaboration across departments without disrupting day-to-day leadership. Translate high-level strategies into actionable initiatives, ensuring proper resourcing, tracking, and execution.
  2. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and manual processes. Lead projects to improve workflows, increase throughput, and implement automation. Build scalable systems to improve margin, output, and consistency.
  3. Business Development & Top-Line Growth: Support revenue growth through new business opportunities, build new revenue streams, and support marketing initiatives that drive sales. Focus on expanding market share and geographic reach.
  4. Project & Strategic Initiative Management: Lead cross-functional projects, manage strategic initiatives involving multiple teams, and ensure milestones are achieved.
  5. Supplier, Product, and Production Support: Collaborate with the Production Manager to enhance sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and scale production capacity as needed.
  6. Financial & Performance Oversight: Work with the President on margins, cost control, financial reporting, budgeting, and KPI tracking.

Key Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, problem-solver, independent worker, digitally fluent, financially literate, operationally sharp.

Qualifications: 3-7 years' experience in operations, project management, or leadership roles. Strong communication skills. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Shopify, and project management tools. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: Salary $60,000 - $80,000 annually, performance bonuses, career development opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Hybrid remote in Sherwood Park, AB
