Job summary

Equitable is seeking an Intermediate Technology Specialist, Core Systems Developer to join our Waterloo, ON team. You will work on cloud-based Wealth systems, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional partners to design, test, and deliver scalable solutions.

The role is hybrid with a minimum two in-office days every other week, offering competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years IT experience with multi-domain expertise.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, Azure, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with API design, REST/JSON, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance shared technology solutions and infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and evolve capabilities enabling continuous delivery of Wealth systems.
• Build and support applications and integrations using Cloud technology.
• Collaborate with product owners to meet business needs with API solutions.
• Analyze production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Lead other developers and set priorities with business partners.
