National 17th Calgary is seeking experienced Line Cooks for a full-time, on-site role. You will produce high-quality dishes, work efficiently, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen, with late-night closing shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year cooking experience.
• Experience working more than one station at a time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• WHMIS Certification is required but can be obtained once hired.
• Food Safe Certification is required but can be obtained within 30 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

• Accurately execute food orders, ensuring high-quality preparation and presentation, following the HeadChef's directions.
• Ensure the highest level of hygiene and food safety for all kitchen staff.
• Maintain the venue in a clean and organized state at all times.
• Operate professionally and support coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
• Store, label, rotate, and manage food to minimize waste and maximize freshness.
• Contribute to meeting department objectives and efficiency goals.
• Respond promptly and positively to guest requests and complaints while upholding standards.
