Job summary

ParaMed is seeking an Clinical Supervisor to oversee Personal Support Workers delivering home health services across the community in Ontario. The role focuses on safe, ethical care, supervision, and continuous improvement within a supportive nursing team.

You will lead staff through regular meetings, mentor in clinical practices, and collaborate on documentation and outcomes with funders. A driver’s license and VSS may be required, with opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and eligible to practice without restrictions.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Practical Nurse.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Personal Support Workers to ensure practices meet legislated standards and company policies.
• Respond to and resolve concerns from staff, patients/families, and other team members.
• Lead regular huddles, face-to-face meetings, and one-on-ones for ongoing guidance.
• Initiate patient safety incident investigations and ensure action plans are tracked.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support clinical documentation and funder reporting guidelines.
• Engage patients and staff in problem solving through coaching and education.
