Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Clinical Unregulated Care Provider Supervisor to oversee PSWs and HSWs delivering home health care in the community. You will assess, implement and evaluate a range of clinical care interventions to ensure safe, quality and ethical care.

You will lead through regular huddles and one-on-one meetings, mentor staff, and collaborate with nursing teams to support clinical documentation and provider reporting.

Qualifications

  • Current RPN or RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitlements to practice without restrictions.
  • Minimum 5 years RN/RPN experience in community/home health care.
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills; ability to teach and mentor staff.
  • Valid driver's license and accessible transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support PSWs/HSWs to ensure practices meet standards and policies.
  • Lead huddles, meetings, and one-on-ones to drive performance.
  • Initiate patient safety investigations and ensure action plans are completed.
  • Collaborate with nursing teams to support documentation and funder reporting.
  • Engage patients and families with education and problem-solving strategies.
  • Foster staff development and coaching in clinical practice.

Job DescriptionIn this valuable role, the Clinical Unregulated Care Provider Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of PSWs and HSWs who are caring and making a difference for clients within the community.
