Hawkesbury and District General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Manager for Inpatient Services. This permanent full-time leadership role focuses on applying high standards, clinical and administrative excellence, and strong resource management to improve patient care and experience.

The position requires nursing leadership, ongoing clinical oversight in a Medical/Surgical setting, and active participation in department initiatives, with attention to regulatory standards and staffing needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in middle management; recent clinical experience in Medical/Surgical.
• Member of the College of Nurses of Ontario or current registration with relevant professional college.

Description

SUMMARY:
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the application and compliance of the high standards respective to his/her sectors by focusing on the application of the policies, procedures and professional norms governing these various areas. He/She ensures that the internal controls in place remain appropriate. The Clinical Manager combines his/her knowledge and clinical and administrative experience to mobilize resources to continuously improve the quality of care and patient experience. He/she ensures that the day-to-day actions of his/her team are guided by values of compassion, excellence and innovation. He/she works to achieve organizational strategic objectives using best practices and evidence-based tactics. He/she manages the operating budget to increase HGH’s operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in middle management as an asset.
• Recent clinical experience in Medical/Surgical unit.
• Member of the College of Nurses of Ontario or current registration with relevant professional college.

• Working knowledge of best practice guidelines relevant to medical-Surgical, CNO professional standards, knowledge application for Required Organizational Practices as defined by Accreditation Canada
• Good communication skills in French and English, both oral and written

HOURS OF WORK:
Permanent Full-time - 1.0 FTE
Work schedule: Monday to Friday (day shifts)

Flexibility and availability to work outside of regular hours, in accordance with current policy.
