Job description

The Clinical Extern Program is a Ministry of Health initiative operating until approximately March 31, 2025.

The Clinical Extern (RT) position is an opportunity for Respiratory Therapy students in their second and third year of a training program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Respiratory Therapy Education, which is administered by the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists. This role is best suited for the EEP Extern position.

The Clinical Extern (RT) will participate as a member of the health care team in supporting direct patient care and clinical unit support. The Extern is considered a valuable member of the healthcare team. As unregulated health care providers, the Extern will collaborate with members of the inter-professional teams within the hospital.
