Manager - Respiratory Therapy

Full-time Permanent position - We are recruiting to fill an existing vacancy.

Salaried position (Based on Experience)

ProResp Inc. is the largest Ontario-owned provider of home respiratory services and the first to offer homecare services with the RRT as the primary healthcare provider. We have a 44-year history of providing complex airway management and patient-centric respiratory care within communities.

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to become Manager of our Toronto operation. Leading a team of healthcare and non-healthcare professionals, the manager ensures successful integration of patient care throughout the region. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop new and work with established relationships with community healthcare professionals, senior living partnerships, and local hospitals, including several with joint venture agreements.

Role Expectations (including but not limited to):

• Maintains client care standards with effective resource utilization
• Develops annual business plans and budgets
• Establishes goals and objectives aligned with corporate policies, procedures, and standards
• Manages physical and human resources for the operation
• Provides developmental training, mentorship, and performance measures to staff
• Operates according to applicable quality standards outlined by senior leadership
• Ensures compliance with relevant legislation such as Human Rights Code, Employment Standards, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Transportation, and Health Canada

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

• Clinical expertise as a Respiratory Therapist is required
• Demonstrated leadership experience of 5+ years is preferred
• Formal business education is an asset
• Excellent communication skills with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Willingness to participate in background checks as a condition of employment
