Renfrew Victoria Hospital in Renfrew, Ontario, is hiring a permanent, full-time Clinical Dietitian to support our nephrology and dialysis patients as well as inpatients.

You will assess, plan, implement, and monitor nutrition care, provide education to patients and families, and maintain EMR records. The role offers a competitive hourly pay grid and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with completed accredited internship.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Eligible for membership with the Dietitians of Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor nutrition care for nephrology patients (inpatients/outpatients).
• Provide education and counselling on nutrition care plans to patients and families.
• Liaise with outside agencies for nutritional monitoring after discharge.
• Develop and update nutrition information materials and teaching aids.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EMR (EPIC).
• Recommend enteral feedings or supplements as necessary.

Come join us! We are hiring a new Permanent, Full‑Time Dietitian to join our team. This will focus on our nephrology/dialysis patients and inpatients.

Pay Grid: $46.96 - $57.07/hour

Union: Non-Union

Shifts: Day

• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor the nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients of our nephrology program (patients requiring haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) who require assessment
• Provide education and counselling to patients and families on nutrition care plans
• Liaise with outside agencies for appropriate nutritional monitoring upon discharge.
• Develop and update nutrition information materials and teaching aids
• Maintain and update records of patients seen in our EMR (EPIC)
• Recommend enteral feedings or supplements as necessary.

• Ability to perform duties within the physical demands of the work area.

• Experience with nephrology and diabetes patients is an asset
• Diabetic Educator certification is an preferred
