Lac La Ronge Indian Band seeks an energetic Clinic Support Worker to maintain the health facility, ensuring water quality and performing janitorial and minor maintenance tasks. About the position:

The Clinic Support Worker will maintain water quality guidelines set by EHO; provide janitorial duties on a regular basis as required within the health facility; provide minor maintenance as assigned by immediate supervisor; cross train for Community Health Representative, Cultural Support Worker, Home Health Aide, Medical Transportation Clerk, Parent Support Worker and Dental Aide.

Duties:

• Maintain water quality guides set by EHO
• Provide janitorial duties on a regular basis as required within the health facility
• Provide minor maintenance as assigned by supervisor
• Cross‑train for Community Health Representative, Community Cultural Support Worker, Home Health Aide, Medical Transportation Clerk, Parent Support Worker and Dental Aide

Qualifications:

• Minimum grade 10 education
• Be able to work independently and demonstrate organization skills
• Willing to learn new skills and work within the health care team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to speak/understand Cree and knowledge of the Cree culture as an asset
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Class 5 Driver’s license preferred, but not required
