Job summary

TCU Place in Saskatoon is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a friendly, motivated team. The role starts with a probationary temporary assignment for 3–4 months, with potential transition to permanent employment after a strong performance and attendance record.

Enjoy regular daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and support sales and business administration by greeting clients, answering calls, processing payments, data entry, vendor coordination, and general office tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, or general business administration role.
  • Demonstrable computer literacy with prior experience utilizing standard office hardware and software effectively.
  • A flawless track record of stellar attendance, reliability, and punctuality in previous employment settings.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, welcome, and assist walk-in customers with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls appropriately, and assist callers with their business administration inquiries.
  • Support the sales staff by assisting with junior sales duties and facilitating smooth customer transactions.
  • Process and run credit card payments securely, ensuring all financial data entry is highly accurate.
  • Manage outsourcing from various vendors, coordinating orders and following up on deliveries as needed.
  • Perform comprehensive data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date client records and internal tracking systems.
  • Execute general business administration duties, including filing, photocopying, and organizing daily schedules.
  • Respond promptly to customer and vendor emails, ensuring clear and professional written communication.
  • Keep the reception and administrative areas tidy, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline daily business administration workflows and improve office efficiency.
