Qualifications

  • Completion of a post-secondary education.
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry or administrative roles preferably in Group Benefits.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Group Insurance principles and assessment techniques.
  • High degree of ownership and commitment to work quickly and accurately in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time-management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication with brokers to ensure their group needs are met, plus build relationships.
  • Pricing, preparing and executing plan changes.
  • Pull and prepare experience reports, including more detailed reports for larger groups.
  • Handle and resolve escalated claims, admin, and billing issues.
  • Assist with commission and contracting issues.
  • Manage the submission and tracking of all MGA appointment letters.
  • Manage and process the submission on Agent of Record letters.
  • Manage the submission of termination letters.
  • Manage overdue account notifications and pending terminations due to minimum participation requirements.

We are hiring a Client Service Specialist to join our GroupQuest team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting brokers and clients by managing group benefits administration, resolving complex issues, and ensuring a seamless service experience. The base salary for this position is between $50,000 - $80,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
